Some studies have also found that chia seeds contain fibre which helps regulate bowel movement. It basically flushes out the toxins accumulated in the intestines, which in turn helps lose visceral fat.

How to add chia seeds to lose belly fat?

If losing abdominal fat is your goal, here are some ways you can add chia seeds to your diet:

1. Chia seeds water

Soak one tablespoon of the seeds in water overnight. Strain the water the next morning and drink it on an empty stomach. You can also drink it in between meals.

2. Chia seed salad

If you like eating salads then you can mix them in a bowl filled with cucumber, radish, tomato, onion, carrots, etc. You can also add it to a bowl of fruit and enjoy the tasty medley.

3. Chia seed pudding

Very simple to make, this pudding can be a great addition to your diet if you trying to lose weight. All you need to do is add some chia seeds to a glass of almond milk (or a milk of your choice). You can add some fresh strawberries or a dash of cinnamon on top to make it tastier.

4. Chia seed drink

Simply boil some chia seeds in water. Let the mixture sit on low flame for a while. Sip it as tea to burn belly fat.
